9th ANNUAL Football Contests (they're FREE to enter)

Welcome to VFV's dedicated page for hosting our popular handicapping contests. With the help of website developer/programmer William 'Bill' Lane of W Lane Enterprises and assists from VFV members John Burick (aka Mr. Pixter) and Ed Sehon (Mr.OutsideVegas), we started holding our contests here in 2011. If you played in either of the season-long contests last year (or our Super Bowl prop contest), you're already registered and hopefully you remember your password. If you don't, click on LOG IN and enter your username and then click "Forgot password."

Newcomers (and this includes those who have registered in the Forums but haven't used this site yet), go to LOG IN and pick a username and password.

Go to the tabs for RULES to see the separate rules for the NFL contest (5 games against the spread each of the 17 weeks of the NFL season) and the NCAA contest (7 picks against the spread for 12 weeks starting with games of Saturday, Sept. 10). The contests were launched in 2008 to let members of VFV Nation compete against each other but also measure themselves against the participants in the big Vegas contests. The NFL contest mirrors the Westgate SuperContest (except it's free compared to the SuperContest's $1,500 entry but unfortunately has prizes that are worth less). The NCAA contest used to mirror Leroy’s and then William Hill before it was dropped last year, but the William Hill has resumed its contest this year so we'll use their lines of 25 available games. That contest runs 10 weeks, but we'll use ViewFromVegas Consensus Lines for the last two weeks and end it with the games of Nov. 25-26.

If you have any questions, email me at or send me a private message in the VFV Forums (or a DM on Twitter @ViewFromVegas).

Yours truly, Dave Tuley (aka tuleythetout)
